  1. Take Chicken -750 gm (boneless)
  2. Make ready 1/2 cup yogurt

  12. Take Whole garam masala (1 big black cardamom, 1"cinnamon, 1 bay leaf
  13. Make ready 1 pc mace, 2 cloves, 3-4 groung black pepper
  14. Prepare 1 tb spn roasted and crushed cumin seed (powder)
  15. Get 1/2 tb spn red chilli powder
  16. Prepare to taste Salt according
  17. Prepare 2 tb spn ginger garlic paste (mixed)

It is made using green herbs and chicken. The taste of the chicken is quite delicious and this is in the form of hariyali chicken fry but it can also be made in many gravy forms like chicken green masala, green chicken curry which are usually in gravy forms. Hariyali chicken is typically made two ways: as a dry preparation which is how you'll often find it served at Indian parties (hariyali chicken tikka) or as a curry where chicken is simmered in a green sauce (hariyali chicken masala) and served over rice or with roti. The recipe I'm sharing today is a curry.

Steps to make Hariyali chicken:
  1. First we will prepare green purie. For that we will add chopped cilantro and mint leaves+lemon juice+green chilli
  2. In a pan we will take some desi ghee. When it will be hot we will add all whole garam masala. Then we will add chopped onion. We will fry it till it the onion becomes pink in color.(medium flame)
  3. We will add chicken pcs into it and will fry it till the water goes off (medium flame).
  4. Once chicken fries well we will add ginger garlic paste and cook it for 3-4 mins.
  5. We will add all spices (garam masala powder, cumin seed powder, red chilli powder, coriender powder) (slow flame). Stir it well and mix all the ingredients properly.
  6. Now add the gree purie. Mix it well and cook it for 2 mins. now Add yogurt and mix it very well and add salt as per the taste. Cover the pan and cook it or 5 mins. (Medium flame).
  7. Now add crushed fenugreek leaves and mix it. Chicken hariyali is ready now.
